Swimming Lessons

Finally the day has arrived. I wasn't sure Brin was going to make it! She has been talking about swim lessons for weeks now. She wasn't afraid at all to get in, and did everything Mandie told her to do. She did awesome. She blew bubbles in the water, kicked across the pool, went under the water multiple times and cried so hard when they were done and it was mine and Taylors turn. Grandma Colleen had to keep her entertained while Taylor did our mommy and me class. Tay wasn't so sure when we first got in (partly because it was raining) but loved it as soon as we started singing songs. We did 'Wheels On the Bus' and when the wipers went swish so did the babes, you get the point. It actually was really fun. Thanks to Mandie my friend for letting us in. She is so cute with the girls. Oh- the reason for two whole pictures is because my batteries died after I went back home to get the camera sitting on the counter.... so Thursday lesson we will get many more. They were pretty funny!!!

Headed back across the to the other side of the pool with cute teacher Mandie!( Sorry, I do have the pictures backwards!)

Brinlee learning her kicks!!! That smile didn't leave her face the entire time-in fact it may have gotten bigger!

St. George

This weekend we headed down to St. George for some R&R. The weather was so nice--not extremely hot--but way nice. We did ALOT of swimming, and just hung out. We played hard and laughed hard. Thanks to the Warrens for making it so much fun. It made me laugh to see what a little fish Brinlee is. Tay liked it when the water was warm but these pools were NOT heated and took a little bit to get used to. The girls both start swimming lessons on Tuesday and I am way excited. Taylor and I are doing a mommy and me class and Brinlee is in a 'big girl class' I will be sure to get lots of pictures to post. I am sure it will be interesting at the least.

Look Who's Walking!!!

She started toddling around a week or so ago but still was crawling more than walking.... that is untill today! I have hardly seen her crawl today. I forgot how cute it is to watch a baby start walking. I love how wobbly they are. Taylor always has a grin from ear to ear like she just knows how cool she is that she is walking. Yea for Taylor!!! My baby is growing up!!!

What a CRAZY, FUN couple of weeks! We have been very busy lately... hence the no posting and no I haven't been very good about the camera. But my brother Deven got married on May 21st, the night before we had a wedding BBQ hosted by my parents- it was great! The Temple was incredible and I am so happy for Dev and Kellie, everything turned out so good. Matt and Katie were able to fly in for the wedding and while they were out here they blessed Averi that following Sunday. I am so glad they were able to do that out here. Sadly Matt had to leave that Monday, but Kate and Averi were able to stay for another week and a half. We had so much fun just hanging out. Blake also graduated from High School and this fall will be heading down to Snow College. Watch out Ephriam here comes TROUBLE!!! It was awful to see Katie and Averi go home but also very fun to see Averi again and see her little personality, the web cam just isn't the same but is better than nothing. It does make it better to know that they will be here again in July.

This past weekend we decided to get away and headed up Fairview, "Heaven on Earth" as Brandon calls it.... to go camping. We had so much fun. The weather stayed pretty nice, a little windy sometimes but then we just watched movies in the trailer. Brinlee thinks this campin stuff is pretty cool and bawled when we had to come home. She loved roasting 'smellows' that's marshmellows... but would only have a bite or two and then give the rest to Tay. Her and Daddy looked for wood for the fire constantly... she also had to break the twigs on her knee like daddy to throw them in the fire. When she wasn't looking for firewood she was picking me 'flowers' or weeds as I call them! She also loved throwing rocks into the big puddles. Taylor just hung out, happy to be there and definately happy to have all of Brins left over 'smellows'!!!!!
