Last week we went to go see Santa out to the mall. Brinlee was a little bit nervous but very excited. When we got there she and Taylor did the old switheroo on us...Brinlee loved him and Taylor was pretty nervous. Last year Tay sat on his lap and Brin just help Taylor's hand so she was close to Santa but not too close! They also got to ride the train with Grandma Janet. What a good sport!

Brinlee's dance recital!
My cute little reindeer did SO good on both her dances. For the finale she started to bawl and wouldn't go out. But...she did awesome! We are very proud of our little ballerina!

Oh Christmas Tree!
Today we went out looking for the 'Perfect' Christmas tree. A couple of weeks ago my parents, Deven and Kellie and Bran and I bought a Christmas tree tag so we could go cut down our own. Well today we ventured out and yes we all found great ones. My parents had to cut branches to fill in odd spots and then zip tie in branches...only to have it tip over and then have the tree break in half after all that time and decorating...sorry mom and dad. Ours looks pretty retarded, bushy in some spots and extremely sparse in others, but the girls are happy...isn't that all that matters? For some reason they all looked like really great trees when we were freezing our butts off looking in the mountains. Oh well. We will have great memories...right? The boys all had fun replaying parts from their favorite movie...'Christmas Vacation.' I am just guessing but this just might be the first and last year we cut down our own Christmas tree...and yes for those of you who are Christmas Vacation movie fans we did check for squirrels!

Thanksgiving! We had a great Thanksgiving this year with the Clarks being able to come out to good old Utah. It was so fun to Averi and see how big she is getting... and her funny personality. We packed in some fun while they were here...after dinner on Thursday we did family pictures since we have added to new members of the family since pictures last year...Kellie and Averi. Then that night mom, Katie, Kellie and I went to see New Moon. We all loved it! It was fun to have some girl time. We had lots of fun with family dinners and card games. The boys went on an all day 4-wheeling exposition. We had a great weekend. I am so greatful for my family and this weekend reminded me how lucky we are to have each other. Love you all!

Disney's Princesses of Ice!
On Saturday my parents, Brandon, the girls and I went to Disney's Princesses on Ice at the Energy Solutions Arena. I do believe that Brandon and my dad were the most excited about this excursion, followed then by Brinlee. We had a great time and even little Taylor LOVED it. I don't need to tell you that Brinlee had a great time. Princesses, and Princes, Mickey and Minnie, cotton candy, snow cones, and even Crown Burger for lunch...mostly for the adults. Thanks mom! We had a great time. I do believe the guys even had fun. I can't wait for next year...maybe a certain little cousin from Ohio would even like it next year. It is a great tradition. Oh! I have to say what cute little costumes the girls had on. Brinlee was 'Little Mermaid' and Taylor was 'Snow White'! So darn cute!

Wow! It seems that bad things come in three's...or at least I hope so (hopefully we have had our turn). The first string of bad was over the deer hunt when out puppy got ran over, then the same trip I dropped our camera in the sink full of dish water and ruined it... then when we got home our computer crashed. So I have been computer-less until this week and thanks for mom for emailing me some Halloween pics so I could share...so better late than never Kate!!!
