WINNER! ! !

I have to tell my mom CONGRATS! She is a HUGE Kyle Korver fan...even to go as far to teach Taylor that when you say 'Korver' she says 'HOT!' But anyway she won the date with Kyle Korver that has been advertised on radio and t.v. So she and my dad get to go to some mansion with 25 other couples and have a catered dinner at some mansion. Lucky girl. So again...CONGRATS!!!

Once there was a snowman, snowman...Brinlee has been begging to build a snowman so with daddy home today was the day...here are our results!

We took the girls snowmobiling/sledding yesterday up Hobble Creek and we had so much fun. The girls...espically Taylor had a blast. They were pretty funny!

Mom and Brinlee!

Mom and Taylor on the sled! Wow! That's all Tay kept saying..WOW!

Mama and the girls...

CHEESE! Anytime she see's a camera she grins and yell's CHEESE!

Now this is trouble...our basement has been turned into a race track!

Christmas Eve...all ready for bed.

Tree Trimming Anyone?

Tonight I just had to get a picture in front of our grand Christmas Tree. Notice how the center looks a little bare...and not just the ornaments. The other day Brinlee decided to use my Shears from the salon and do a little tree trimming...along with a few of her barbies hair and hers as well. I about died and so did she if Grandma hadn't been there. The girls both got new jammies from Grandpa and ma Stradling at the Stradling Family Christmas Party the other night. They look SO cute. Also notice how Brinlee has on BRIGHT pink lip stick. From her dance recital...but she thinks she need to wear it all the time. Silly girl. I feel bad we missed the Christmas party...I heard Ryan and Michelle were excellent hosts and had gone all out. Poor Taylor has had the croup and hasn't been able to shake it so back to the doctor we went today. Another dose of steroids will hopefully do the trick this time. Poor baby.

Last week we went to go see Santa out to the mall. Brinlee was a little bit nervous but very excited. When we got there she and Taylor did the old switheroo on us...Brinlee loved him and Taylor was pretty nervous. Last year Tay sat on his lap and Brin just help Taylor's hand so she was close to Santa but not too close! They also got to ride the train with Grandma Janet. What a good sport!

Brinlee's dance recital!

My cute little reindeer did SO good on both her dances. For the finale she started to bawl and wouldn't go out. But...she did awesome! We are very proud of our little ballerina!

Oh Christmas Tree!
Today we went out looking for the 'Perfect' Christmas tree. A couple of weeks ago my parents, Deven and Kellie and Bran and I bought a Christmas tree tag so we could go cut down our own. Well today we ventured out and yes we all found great ones. My parents had to cut branches to fill in odd spots and then zip tie in branches...only to have it tip over and then have the tree break in half after all that time and decorating...sorry mom and dad. Ours looks pretty retarded, bushy in some spots and extremely sparse in others, but the girls are happy...isn't that all that matters? For some reason they all looked like really great trees when we were freezing our butts off looking in the mountains. Oh well. We will have great memories...right? The boys all had fun replaying parts from their favorite movie...'Christmas Vacation.' I am just guessing but this just might be the first and last year we cut down our own Christmas tree...and yes for those of you who are Christmas Vacation movie fans we did check for squirrels!

Thanksgiving! We had a great Thanksgiving this year with the Clarks being able to come out to good old Utah. It was so fun to Averi and see how big she is getting... and her funny personality. We packed in some fun while they were here...after dinner on Thursday we did family pictures since we have added to new members of the family since pictures last year...Kellie and Averi. Then that night mom, Katie, Kellie and I went to see New Moon. We all loved it! It was fun to have some girl time. We had lots of fun with family dinners and card games. The boys went on an all day 4-wheeling exposition. We had a great weekend. I am so greatful for my family and this weekend reminded me how lucky we are to have each other. Love you all!
