Tay-Bug turns the big 3!

I can't believe that my baby is 3! It has gone WAY too fast. Taylor turned 3 on March 30th. Yes, I am really slow blogging this and feel bad. The day of her birthday I took the girls to Jumpin' Jacks in Springville and let them play. Brinlee had a blast but Taylor bawled for the first 15 minutes until she figured out that it was fun. Then she only wanted to go down the biggest slide they had. They ended up having a ball. (Pictures to come!)

I love this little bug so much! She is so funny and brings so much joy to our house. She has such a funny personality. She can be such a sweetheart and a tender-heart. Brandon just has to look at her wrong and she bawls! But....she also has a pretty good little temper, and I am afraid it's not just her age. Her nursury leader told us a few weeks ago they had to put her in time out. Who goes to time out in nursury? Taylor! She just said, "She definatly can hold her own!" Which now days I guess is a good thing. A strong personality. She looks up to Brinlee and wants to be just like her. She LOVES her sister, Princesses, and babies and just playing outside. I love the way she talks. Most of the things she says she does really well, but with alot she adds an 'H' in front of stuff. Like..."Honk You" ( Thank You); "Baby Hapen" (Baby Payten); and "Hondabile" (snowmobile). She is a nut! We love her TONZ!

From being born at 33.5 wks. at 4 lbs. 9 oz. and coming home a week and a half later at 3 lbs. 8 oz. to now being in the 75% in height and 50% in weight. I can't believe how blessed we have been and what a joy she has been to our family. I am so greatful for her and am excited for what this next year will bring us! Happy Birthday Taylor!!!!

She's a Big Girl Now!

That's right! For two weeks now Taylor has been peeing in the toilet and wearing princess panties! I never thought this day would come. Brinlee was easily bribed and after one day of working with her she never had an accident. Not Taylor. For months now I would try my bribery tricks. First I let her pick out a toy. When we got home she was so excited about her princess shoes, but said she, and quote "I don't like shoes anymore." Once I told her she couldn't have them until she pee-peed in the toilet and wore big girl panties. Well then we tried a treat jar....she's not a huge treat person so after that did no good I got her a can of Pringles. Any of you who know her knows she LOVES chips! So I thought being so clever this would work. Pee in the toilet and get a chip. But when I explained this she looked at me and said..." No thank you, I just have chips with my sandwich!" She was too smart and figured that she usually has chips with her sandwich at lunch and she would just wait! Oh well. But I am so proud of her! She finally did it! Now Brandon and I get a raise...we don't have to but diapers any more!!!! Yeah Taylor!

A quick trip to Mesquite!

Grandpa and Brinlee checking things out!

Our family!
Grandma and the girlies by the Indian Petrogliphs. Brinlee was crying because she thought the Indians were coming to get her...yes, we did explain, after the picture!

Having a sandwich after the ride...I know none of these are in order!

Daddy making a mess, as Taylor would say! The sand was really fun to ride in!

Grandma and Tay-bugs!

Last weekend we decided we need to get out of here! We went down to Mesquite for the weekend with my parents and went 4-wheeling! The temperature was in the mid 70's, yes I did just say that. It was so fun and warm. Thanks mom and dad! This is Brinlee posing, just getting ready for the ride.

Taylor...do you think she's excited!?!
We had so much fun and it was nice to get away and just play for the weekend!

Brinlee Birthday Party!

My little Rapunzel all ready for her guests...

The back of her hair.

All of the BEAUTIFUL Princesses at the party!
'Hear ye, hear ye....the party was held at the Castle Stradling in the town of Spanish Fork!!!

Opening up all of the Barbies oops. I mean presents! All though we ended up with eight new barbies (not including the family party) out of 11 girls! They all know her VERY well! I love it and she couldn't have been more pleased. I have to thank both of the Grandma's for all of their help. Otherwise I might have ended up with a bigger headache! Lol! They were so cute and we had a great time. On a side note...both grandma's played "Put the Princess on the Castle." (other wise known as Pin the tail on the donkey!)

Guess who's turning 5?

That's right...even I can't believe it! Brinlee is turning 5 on the 9th. The years how flown by. She has LOVED Pre-School this year and has lots of fun little friends. She is a question asker...I always have to be on my toes with her. Through her questions I have learned lots, especially concerning the gospel. I think she has been extra interested since my brother Blake left on his mission. She loves reading her Scriptures, which has been a good example for me. I have been amazed at the little testimony she is gaining. She loves primary and when we picked her up the other week, the lesson had been on Joseph Smith. One of her favorites. The teachers told us that she pretty much taught the lesson for them. She is so smart and remembers EVERYTHING! That isn't always a good thing either! I love being able to stay home and to spend time with the girls. She is such an awesome big sister. Taylor idolizes everything she does, and they have become very good little friends. But when you ask her if she would like another baby in the family she always says..."No, just me and Tay is good enough!" She makes me laugh. I almost put 15 instead of 5 because that's how old she acts some days. She always has to pick her outfits out and tells me the way she wants her hair....piggy tails were out a long time ago-those are just for babies. She loves to have her toenails painted and rarely is seen without lipstick! She is such a tender heart and a sweetheart. She is always thinking of others. I am so blessed to have my two beautiful girls and love them more every day. They are such a blessing to us, I just wish they wouldn't grow up so fast. Even though they are at a very fun stage right now. I hope Brinlee has an awesome birthday and knows that her parents love her more than anything! Happy Birthday Magoo!

Sleddidng and Snowmobliling!

Last Friday Brandon took a half a day off and we took the girls Snowmobiling and sledding. We pulled them behind the snowmobile for a while and then Brinlee wanted to go to the sledding hill up Hobble Creek. Just across from where we were. But the hard part was getting Taylor off the sled! She kept saying.."More hondamobile!" That's Snowmobile for those of you that need a translation!

The girls both wanted to ride first. I thought I was going to be on the sled by myself, but Brinlee took pity on me!

Brin crusin' down the sledding hill!

Daddy and Taylor

The treck back up the hill!

We had so much fun! But I was defintely sore the next day. I guess I played too hard! By the way if anyone knows how to change the color on the writing...please let me know. I know I'm retarded but I can't help it!
